Lead Instructor

Our lead instructor’s expertise is built on a career dedicated to serving others and saving lives. Starting as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at 17, he served as a U.S. Navy Corpsman and later retired as a New York City Police Department Sergeant.

Through decades of experience, he identified a critical flaw in emergency response systems: protocol-driven delays. When you call 911:

  1. You’re connected to a 911 operator.

  2. Once the operator learns your location they connect you to a precinct dispatcher.

  3. The precinct dispatcher relays the information to local police.

  4. The Officer's must then locate you.

In emergencies, where every second counts, help is only minutes away.

This real-world insight fuels FRP’s mission to empower you as your own first responder. Our instructor equips you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to act decisively until professional help arrives.
